Hereby U.P.F.A.R.-A.R.G.O.A. notifies for the last time all the rightholders – videogram producers – that there are only 30 days left for the claiming of the collected remunerations / patrimonial copyrights and related rights to copyright, assigned and notified, according to the legal and statutory provisions, for the period the 4 quarter 2014- the 3 quarter 2015, following that after the date of 31 May 2019, those amounts to be prescribed!”

UPFAR ARGOA PRESENTATION

U.P.F.A.R. - A.R.G.O.A. (Romanian Union of Film and Audiovisual Producers - Romanian Association for Collective Management of Audiovizual Works) is a collective management organization, established in 1999 in Bucharest, Romania.

The main scope of U.P.F.A.R. - A.R.G.O.A. is to represent, promote, develop and protect the interests of its members and of Romanian audiovisual and film producers in general.
The main object of activity is the collection and distribution on the grounds of equal treatment, of the following categories of rights:

Can become a member any person or entity from Romania or from abroad, who as a film or audiovisual producer, entrusted the union, directly or through a representative, through a written contract of mandate, his collective management for his patrimonial rights. UPFAR-ARGOA will accept the administration of these rights, based on the collective management, limited object of activity.

Under the management of extended rights, which U.P.F.A.R. – A.R.G.O.A. needs to abide by the provisions of law 8/1996 with subsequent changes and additions, in terms of private copy levy and cinematografic and audiovisual content broadcasting via cable, we have dedicated this section to the international producers, rightsholders of video content, pending identification by U.P.F.A.R. – A.R.G.O.A.
